Make your design stand out!

The Internet has made it easier than ever to custom design shirts for any occasion -- custom work shirts for your employees, customized office attire, or maybe just some custom T-shirts for your kickball team. Let Threds work with you to create the best possible custom shirt designs for you.

Here are a few tips to help you make the best custom shirt design possible:

Simple.
Remember, good custom shirt designs steer toward the simple because it helps make them more memorable. Think about the most recognizable shirt designs you've seen, from the almost ubiquitous Che Guevara design to the "I Love NY" tee.  They're instantly recognizable; yet, there's relatively little going on. The key is to make something unique that's not overly done.

Appropriate.
Your custom shirt designs should be appropriate for the shirt's purpose. If you're designing something, say, for an upcoming fishing trip, it can be fun and creative. If you're designing something for a fishing trip, this time let's say, celebrating your best buddy's bachelor party, then you'll definitely want to reel in any lewd ideas before you get too far in thought. Corporate event? Make it less "office" and maybe a little more "outing." Just be sure you stay within branding guidelines. When drafting designs, think about who will wear your shirts, where, when and why they will be wearing them.

Different.
What's going to set your design apart from others? Though a lot of imagery is logical, much of it's overused. As an example, think about arrows and globes. Now think about how many designs out there incorporate them. Strive to break free from the ordinary and try and come up with something truly unique that translates well to a shirt.

So long as your design is simple, appropriate and unique, it'll be great. Keep these points in mind as you plan and brainstorm your shirt designs. Before you know it, you'll be ready to hand us your design so we can transform it into something you can wear and enjoy, knowing you were part of the process.
